Pititng edema is normal in the feet of those with LBD.  The feet swell.  Then they return to normal.  Then they swell.  And back to normal.

What I didn’t realize for some time is that mom was complaining of a lot of foot pain.  So finally we decided to go get some new shoes as her current ones were “mature.”

But instead of getting her normal size, I actually purchased some shoes that were too big.  And I’m glad I did.  It acomodates the intermittent swelling.  There are a lot of practicalities on this journey.
