Common Symptoms:
- Delusions (objects turn into small children, animals and more)
- Mumbling
- Unintelligible Whispering
- Increased nerve sensitivity to touch
- Loss of fine motor skills (to be able to eat by oneself)
- Capgras (seeing duplicate and triplicate and you’re never the right person or at the right house)
- Never feeling home
- Depression, sadness
- Fluctuating moods to happiness also
- Seeing sexual delusions that they find disgusting
- Crying
- Difficulty with motor control in walking
- Sensing that they are fine and everyone else has a problem
- Wildly fluctuating lucidity (sometimes coherent, sometimes not, always a mystery)
- Difficulty with eyes and focus
- Sleep difficulties at night, sleepy all day
- Visual-spatial problems
- Sequencing of tasks
If your loved one has LBD, they may only have some of these issues but then soon it seems like they have all of them. One day at a time. Make your loved one feel successful. Roll with the punches.
