Bowel incontinence is no joke and it comes at late stages.  For us, since mom has broken her 3x (2x on one and 1x on the other), she cannot stand.  No longer can we get her into the bathroom in our older house to put her in the shower to clean her up.  It’s in the lift at the couch side commode.

We try our best to help by putting her on the commode every couple of hours.  This does help.  But not always. Several times now she has had an accident shortly after being on the commode.  But you do what you have to do.  And just saying adult briefs are not sufficient, but they are better than nothing.  A mess is a mess.

It’s something you deal with as it comes. It’s part of the journey.  We are there.

It’s still not as bad as Capgras Syndrome.
